"Phoebe"

At 8+ years old, Phoebe continues to enjoy the show ring in the veterans' specialty classes.
Her movement is still effortless and the applause from her audience is only her due, in our princess' mind!

New CD title!

We feel strongly that breeding of Pembroke Welsh Corgis (or of any animal) is a serious undertaking for only the extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. Phoebe was bred by and co-owned with Marian Johnson Your of Tri-umph. Marian has been training, showing, and breeding Pembroke Welsh Corgis for more than fifteen years. Her dogs have conformation, obedience, and agility titles, and include a Best of Breed winner at the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America National Specialty in 1989. We are honored and proud that she entrusted us with our first show dog and filled our lives with "trainability, true movement, and type".

Phoebe, a light sable bitch, has a dead-level topline, perfect movement, and wonderful temperament. She is a CH Arbor Sand Pieper daughter, out of CH Tri-umph Tenderly.

To see Phoebe's health clearances, please click on this link, which will take you to her OFA page.

Phoebe is now TDIA and recently received an award from the Military Officers Association of America for her therapy dog work at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and on behalf of the El Paso Chapter of the MOAA, the National Association for Uniformed Services (NAUS), Chapter 30 of the Society of Military Widows (SMW) and Fort Bliss' active duty military personnel and their family members.

We have recently been seeing several patients who are recovering from wounds sustained in Iraq. Their sometimes horrific and frightening appearance does nothing to discourage her from cuddling up in their laps.

Phoebe seems to have a special understanding for the soldiers on the mental health ward, but also enjoys her last stop of visiting day - pediatrics - where belly rubs abound! I attribute Phoebe's empathetic and just amazing temperament to her breeder and co-owner, Marian Johnson Your.
