If you’re wondering why our site is so heavily slanted with Pembroke information and not enough Cardigan information, the reason is that Candy is a newcomer to KeelMtn and our very first Cardigan. As we learn more about this intriguing breed, we’ll share what we know with you.

Candy comes to us from Kathy Davis of DWYSAN in Queen Creek, AZ. I fell in love with her, Candy that is, when I saw her at 13 weeks at the Tucson Coyote Cluster this past November. Candy’s sister, Missy, will be in the show rings with Kathy this spring, although Kathy isn’t sure she gave up the right puppy! I think both girls are pretty nice and will do well. Candy is co-owned with Kathy (dwysancwc@earthlink.net) and my best friend and cheerleader Jinnie Strickland of SOLSTICE.

Candy doesn’t know she’s supposed to be a reserved Cardigan and at this point is even more outgoing than the in-your-face Pems! She loves everyone and everything and thinks the big wide world is just something more for her to play with. Watch for Candy taking on the world this spring in the southeast!
